Job Summary
The Production Engineer is responsible for managing the complete process of lithium battery manufacturing from cell assembly to final dispatch. The role ensures quality, safety, timely production, and smooth coordination between departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily production activities as per schedule
- Monitor production processes and ensure smooth workflow
- Improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
- Maintain production quality as per company standards
- Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks
- Coordinate with stores, quality, and maintenance teams
- Ensure proper documentation of production reports
- Implement process improvements and efficiency techniques
- Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all products meet quality standards
- Follow and enforce safety procedures on the shop floor
- Conduct regular checks to avoid defects and rework
- Maintain clean and organized work environment (5S)
Reporting & Documentation
- Daily production reports
- Rejection and rework analysis
- Machine downtime reports
- Material consumption tracking
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and team coordination
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems
- Time management and planning skills
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing (Freshers can also apply)
Preferred (for your company – battery industry)
- Knowledge of Lithium Battery / Battery Pack Assembly
- Understanding of BMS, testing, and quality checks
- Experience in handling production lines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹140,000.00 - ₹144,000.00 per year
