Position - Mining Engineer/Planner
Location - Kolkata
Experience - 2 to 10 years
Responsibility :
- Developing and optimizing mining plans to ensure efficient resource extraction while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
- Utilization of geological and geo-technical data to design mine layouts, schedules, and sequencing.
- Determine optimal drilling and blasting methods to maximize ore recovery.
- Develop short-term and long-term production schedules to achieve production targets.
- Optimize mine sequencing to balance ore quality and quantity over time.
- Recommend modifications to existing mine plans to optimize resource utilization.
- Contribute to feasibility studies by providing technical and commercial input on mine planning and scheduling.
- Analyze project proposals to assess their viability and potential economic returns
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to project feasibility studies.
- Work like a team member/ team leader, as and when required and display skills in terms of working as a team.
- Contribute to firm’s growth, by contributing in developing proposals and responding to RFPs/ Tenders.
Qualification :
- Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in mine planning and scheduling for OC/UG Mining in Coal/Metal.
- Proficiency in mine planning software and tools preferably MINEX & SURPAC.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in mining.
- Understanding of the regulatory and policy regime in the Indian mining and metals sectors.

Pay: ₹42,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
