- Operate DRO (Digital Read Out) machines such as Lathe, Milling, and Drilling machines.
- Perform machining of pump components like shafts, impellers, casings, sleeves, etc.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and ensure adherence to tolerance limits.
- Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.).
- Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and adjust machine parameters.
- Ensure proper handling of materials and minimize rejection.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and quality team for continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of conventional machining with DRO systems.
- Experience in pump components machining is mandatory.
- Good understanding of tolerances, fits, and surface finish.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality checks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
