As State Head – Sales, you will be responsible for driving housing loan and LAP business growth across the state. The role carries accountability for achieving disbursement targets, building a strong distribution network, ensuring portfolio quality, and maintaining process and compliance discipline. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end ownership of state-level sales performance.
State Business & Strategy
- Develop and implement state-level sales strategies for Home Loans and LAP products.
- Own and deliver state disbursement targets in line with approved business plans.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts for the state.
Distribution & Channel Management
- Build and strengthen a robust distribution network across DST, DSA, and Connector channels.
- Ensure each sourcing point is active and contributes meaningfully to business volumes.
- Monitor channel productivity, conversion ratios, and lead generation effectiveness.
Sales Productivity & Execution
- Ensure sufficient lead generation opportunities and healthy conversion ratios across branches.
- Drive productivity at branch, RM, and channel level through regular reviews and action plans.
- Ensure regular branch visits, travel, and on-ground engagement by self and team.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales organization across the state.
- Ensure teams are well-versed with prevailing KPIs, product norms, and sourcing standards.
- Coach and mentor teams to improve performance, discipline, and customer engagement.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Monitor and manage risks related to sourcing and disbursements in line with credit policies.
- Ensure timely closure of OTC, PDD, and pre-disbursement conditions.
- Track portfolio quality, early bounce trends, and delinquency indicators.
Reporting & Management Communication
- Prepare and present regular MIS and sales performance reports to senior management.
- Provide insights on market trends, portfolio quality, and growth opportunities.
