Job Title: Promoter cum Merchandiser
Reporting To: Sales Manager
Job Location: Delhi NCR
Job Summary:
The Promoter cum Merchandiser is responsible for driving secondary sales, ensuring excellent in-store visibility, maintaining product availability, and strengthening the brand's presence across assigned retail outlets. The role involves regular market visits, product promotion, merchandising execution, customer engagement, and timely reporting to support overall business growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Sales Achievement
- Achieve monthly secondary sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Drive product movement through effective retailer and customer engagement.
- Execute sales initiatives and promotional activities as directed.
2. Outlet Coverage
- Visit all assigned retail outlets as per the approved beat plan.
- Ensure regular retailer interaction and market coverage.
- Build and maintain healthy relationships with retailers.
3. Product Availability
- Ensure all listed SKUs are available at every assigned outlet.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Minimize stock-outs through proactive follow-ups.
4. Merchandising Execution
- Maintain product displays as per approved planograms and merchandising guidelines.
- Ensure shelves are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Execute promotional displays during campaigns and new product launches.
5. Secondary Sales Growth
- Drive sales growth within the assigned territory.
- Identify opportunities to improve product off-take.
- Support retailers in maximizing product sales.
6. Visibility & Branding
- Ensure proper placement and maintenance of all POSM materials, including posters, danglers, wobblers, standees, shelf strips, and other branding elements.
- Monitor in-store brand visibility and report any gaps.
7. Customer Engagement
- Promote products through demonstrations and customer interactions.
- Explain product features, benefits, and offers to consumers.
- Encourage product trials and conversions.
8. Stock Management
- Regularly monitor stock availability at outlets.
- Report low stock or out-of-stock situations promptly.
- Coordinate with distributors/sales teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
9. New Product Placement
- Ensure timely placement and visibility of newly launched products.
- Educate retailers about new SKUs and promotional schemes.
10. Competitor Intelligence
- Track competitor pricing, promotions, displays, schemes, and new product launches.
- Share timely market intelligence with the reporting manager.
11. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily sales reports, outlet visit reports, stock updates, merchandising reports, and activity summaries.
12. Discipline & Compliance
- Adhere to company policies, reporting timelines, attendance requirements, and market visit schedules.
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the company.

Minimum Graduate (Preferred)
- 2 to 3 years of experience in FMCG/Food & Beverage merchandising, retail sales, or promoter roles.
- Freshers with good communication skills may also be considered.

Pay: ₹18,285.71 - ₹25,000.00 per month
