The Regional Operations Head will be responsible for driving, end-to-end regional performance across Operations, New Business Development (NBD), Key Account Management (KAM) and P&L ownership for the assigned geography. The role requires strong leadership in contract logistics, warehousing, transportation management, customer engagement, solutioning, commercial management and operational excellence.

Regional Operations Management
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for contract logistics across assigned markets or regions.

Lead and manage end-to-end warehousing, transportation and contract logistics operations for the assigned region.
- Ensure achievement of operational KPIs including productivity, inventory accuracy, SLA adherence, fill rate, cost optimization and customer satisfaction.

Drive operational excellence initiatives across all sites and customers within the region.

Monitor warehouse utilization, warehouse performance, manpower productivity, process compliance and safety standards.

Ensure adherence to statutory, legal, EHS and client compliance requirements.
- Review operational MIS, dashboards and performance metrics on a regular basis.
- Lead escalation management and ensure timely resolution of customer and operational issues.

New Business Development (NBD)

Drive Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and 3PL solutions.

Drive regional revenue growth through acquisition of new customers across Contract Logistics (3PL), Warehousing and Transportation solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic customer relationships.
- Participate in RFQ/RFP discussions, commercial negotiations and solution presentations.
- Work closely with Solution Design, Finance and Implementation teams for new client onboarding.
- Develop market intelligence regarding competition, pricing trends and customer requirements.
- Achieve regional sales targets, revenue goals and business expansion objectives.

Key Account Management (KAM)

Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, customers, and strategic partners. Manage strategic customer relationships and act as the primary escalation point for key accounts.
- Drive customer retention, account growth and cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with clients to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure achievement of customer SLAs and contractual commitments.

Build long-term partnerships with customers through proactive engagement and service excellence.
- P&L Management
- Own and manage complete regional P&L including revenue, operating cost, gross margins and EBITDA targets.

Monitor budget adherence and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure financial discipline across manpower, transportation, warehouse operations and overhead expenses.
- Review profitability customer-wise and site-wise to improve margin realization.
- Support billing, collections and working capital management for the region.
- Drive productivity improvement and operational cost reduction initiatives.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead regional operations, KAM and business teams to drive high performance.
- Build strong collaboration with internal functions including HR, Finance, Solution Design, Procurement and IT.
- Mentor and develop regional leadership teams and succession pipeline.
- Drive employee engagement, performance management and capability development initiatives.

12–18 years of experience in Contract Logistics, 3PL, 4PL, Warehousing and Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong exposure to regional operations management along with commercial and customer-facing responsibilities.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale multi-site operations and P&L ownership.
Experience in handling enterprise/key accounts across industries such as FMCG, Consumer Durables, Retail, Automotive, Telecom, Electronics, or Manufacturing preferred.
