Job Summary:
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to design, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer hardware, IFPD, networking equipment, and related IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in hardware diagnostics, system configuration, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IFPD, desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, scanners, and other IT hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Assemble, upgrade, and repair computer systems and replace faulty components.
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and applications.
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware and basic software issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks on IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and update service records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, warranty claims, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and organizational policies.
- Support deployment, relocation, and installation of new hardware across office locations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in computer hardware support or IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows installation, system configuration, and device drivers.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with hardware diagnostic tools and preventive maintenance.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 1–4 years (Freshers with relevant internships/certifications may also be considered)
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
