Key Responsibilities
A. Software & Application Development
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based and mobile applications for healthcare and NGO programs.
- Develop customized digital solutions based on program and organizational requirements.
- Create new modules, features, forms, dashboards, reports, and system functionalities.
- Improve and upgrade existing applications based on feedback from program teams.
- Ensure applications are responsive, user-friendly, and accessible to field-level users.
- Develop solutions that can function effectively in environments with limited internet connectivity, wherever required.
B. Healthcare & Beneficiary Data Management
- Develop and maintain systems for registration and management of patients, elderly beneficiaries, caregivers, community members, and other program beneficiaries.
- Develop digital forms for patient assessments, home visits, follow-ups, referrals, service delivery, and case management.
- Ensure appropriate role-based access to beneficiary and patient information.
- Support secure storage, retrieval, and management of healthcare and beneficiary-related data.
- Develop mechanisms for tracking patient visits, services provided, referrals, follow-ups, and outcomes.
- Ensure data integrity and minimize duplication, errors, and loss of beneficiary records.
C. MIS, Reporting & Dashboards
- Develop automated MIS systems and dashboards for program monitoring and decision-making.
- Create dashboards for indicators such as:
- Number of beneficiaries registered
- Patient visits and follow-ups
- Services provided
- Referrals and linkages
- Field activities
- Staff performance
- Program coverage
- Location-wise performance
- Monthly and quarterly targets
- Develop automated reports for Program Managers and senior management.
- Enable filtering and analysis of data by location, date, program, staff member, beneficiary, and other relevant parameters.
- Support timely generation of monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports.
- Assist the MIS/Program team in data extraction and analysis.
D. Field Staff & Attendance Systems
- Develop and maintain digital systems for field staff attendance and activity tracking.
- Support integration of attendance, leave, timesheet, and staff activity data where required.
- Develop systems for tracking field visits and assigned activities.
- Support GPS/location-based features where approved and required by the organization.
- Develop dashboards to monitor staff attendance, field activities, and performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to staff attendance and activity-monitoring applications.
E. HR & Administrative Technology Support
- Support development and maintenance of HR-related digital systems, including:
- Employee/consultant records
- Attendance
- Leave management
- Timesheets
- Onboarding and exit documentation
- Performance assessment
- Staff reporting structures
- Develop automated HR reports and dashboards as required.
- Coordinate with HR to understand system requirements and improve digital HR processes.
F. Database Management
- Design, maintain, and optimize databases used by the organization.
- Ensure accurate storage and retrieval of program, beneficiary, employee, and operational data.
- Perform data validation, cleaning, backup, and recovery activities.
- Develop appropriate database structures and relationships.
- Identify and resolve database performance issues.
- Support data migration between systems when required.
G. API & System Integration
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between organizational systems.
- Integrate third-party platforms and services where required.
- Support integration between mobile applications, web applications, databases, dashboards, and other digital platforms.
- Ensure secure transfer of data between integrated systems.
H. Data Security & Privacy
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient, beneficiary, employee, and organizational data.
- Implement appropriate user authentication and role-based access controls.
- Ensure users can access only the information relevant to their roles.
- Implement appropriate security measures for databases and applications.
- Regularly identify and address potential software and data-security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure appropriate backup and recovery mechanisms are maintained.
- Follow the organization's data protection, confidentiality, and information security policies.
I. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide timely technical support to staff using organizational software and digital platforms.
- Investigate and resolve software bugs, application errors, login issues, data issues, and system failures.
- Maintain a record of reported technical issues and their resolution.
- Provide technical guidance to field and office staff.
- Conduct user orientation/training for newly developed or upgraded systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors or technology partners for technical issues when required.
J. Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct functional testing before deployment of new software or features.
- Identify and resolve bugs before releasing updates.
- Conduct user acceptance testing in coordination with program teams.
- Monitor applications after deployment and address issues promptly.
- Ensure that software updates do not compromise existing data or functionalities.
K. Documentation
- Maintain proper documentation of:
- Source code
- Database structures
- APIs and integrations
- System architecture
- User access and permissions
- Software configurations
- System updates
- Troubleshooting procedures
- Prepare user manuals and technical guides for staff where required.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
