Position: VMC Operator Cum Setter

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 3+ Years
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications.
- Perform tool setting, fixture setting, and offset corrections.
- Load CNC programs and make minor program edits when required.
- Monitor machining operations and maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments.
- Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Indicator for quality checks.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and coordinate with maintenance/programming teams.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Maintain production records and inspection reports.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times. (BeBee)
Required Skills
- Knowledge of VMC/CNC machine operation and setting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers.
- Basic knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Understanding of tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds.
- Strong problem-solving and quality inspection skills.
