Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Control
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations and general ledger maintenance.
- Review journal entries, ledgers, and accounting records for accuracy.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Monitor accounting controls and compliance processes.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
Inventory & Cost Accounting
- Oversee inventory valuation and stock accounting.
- Conduct periodic stock reconciliations with warehouses and operations teams.
- Analyze inventory ageing, shrinkage, and stock movement.
- Monitor product costing and gross margin analysis.
- Support budgeting and profitability analysis by category and channel.
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare and review GST reconciliations and tax workings.
- Coordinate with external consultants and auditors.
- Manage statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
E-Commerce & Marketplace Finance
- Monitor and reconcile marketplace transactions and settlements.
- Review commission structures, deductions, claims, and recoveries.
- Track channel-wise profitability and payment cycles.
- Resolve discrepancies with marketplace partners.
MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS, cash flow reports, and management dashboards.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, working capital, and profitability trends.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Generate actionable financial insights for business leadership.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Guide and mentor junior accounting team members.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, warehouses, and sales teams.
- Ensure timely closure of vendor and customer accounting issues.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter.
- 4–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in apparel, textile, retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce sectors.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Experience handling audits and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA Inter qualified candidates preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Exposure to multi-channel retail and e-commerce finance.
- Experience in a high-growth consumer brand environment.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
