Job Summary
The Pre-Primary Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the pre-primary section to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, child development, and overall school operations. The coordinator works closely with teachers, parents, and school management to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities-
Academic Responsibilities-
Plan and implement the pre-primary curriculum in line with the school's educational philosophy.
Monitor lesson planning, classroom activities, and teaching methodologies.
Ensure age-appropriate learning experiences and holistic child development.
Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
Organize assessments and maintain student progress records.
Teacher Management
Mentor, guide, and support pre-primary teachers.
Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Monitor teacher performance and recommend training opportunities.
Assist in recruitment and induction of new teachers.
Student Development
Promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
Monitor students' well-being and learning progress.
Coordinate support for children with diverse learning needs.
Parent Engagement
Build positive relationships with parents.
Organize parent orientation programmes, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.
Administrative Responsibilities
Prepare academic calendars, timetables, and activity schedules.
Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance records.
Ensure classrooms are well-equipped, safe, and child-friendly.
Coordinate admissions and orientation for new students.
Event Management
Plan and organize celebrations, annual functions, field trips, sports events, and special activities.
Encourage student participation in co-curricular and extracurricular programmes.
Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Promote innovative teaching practices and continuous improvement.
Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and discipline within the pre-primary section.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (required).
B.Ed., Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECCEd/NTT), or equivalent qualification.
Master's degree in Education or related field is preferred.
Experience
5–8 years of teaching experience in pre-primary education.
At least 2–3 years of experience in an academic leadership or coordination role is preferred.

Pay: ₹16,845.54 - ₹49,277.98 per month
