JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Specialist Software Engineer with expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Functional, Technical, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle HCM implementations, configuration, integrations, data migration, reporting, and technical development across multiple HCM modules.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to design, configure, implement, integrate, and support Oracle HCM Cloud solutions while ensuring scalable, secure, and business-aligned outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
- Configure and implement Oracle HCM Cloud solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Design, develop, and support Oracle HCM integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and third-party integrations.
- Configure Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Absence Management, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), Compensation, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Performance & Goals, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, Opportunity Marketplace, and Dynamic Skills.
- Develop and maintain Oracle HCM technical solutions using HDL, HSDL, Fast Formula, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Application Process Flows, and Personalizations.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, defect analysis, and production support.
- Troubleshoot configuration, migration, reporting, and integration issues while coordinating with Oracle Support through Service Requests (SRs).
- Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, design specifications, data mapping documents, and solution artifacts.
- Participate in implementation projects, enhancements, upgrades, and production support activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 4–10 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Functional, Technical, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Hands-on expertise in Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), Compensation, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Performance & Goals, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, Opportunity Marketplace, and Dynamic Skills.
- Experience configuring Oracle HCM Cloud, including enterprise structures, workflows, approvals, security roles, security profiles, and Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
- Technical expertise in HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL), HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), SQL, PL/SQL, Application Process Flows, and Oracle HCM Personalization.
- Experience raising and managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and resolving complex technical or functional issues.
- Must have completed at least two end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and test cycle management is an added advantage.
