Role of a Estimation & Billing
The Estimation & Costing Engineer ensures that construction projects are financially feasible by preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, budgets, and tender documents. They work closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, design, and project teams.
- Prepare tender documents and bid submissions.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering.
- Monitor project budgets and cost variances.
- Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for pricing.
- Support management with budgeting and forecasting.
Pay: ₹10,758.84 - ₹45,981.68 per month
Work Location: In person
