Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and caring Pre-Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should create a joyful learning environment and help children develop their cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor skills through interactive and age-appropriate activities. Common responsibilities for preschool teachers include planning engaging lessons, fostering creativity, building social skills, maintaining a safe classroom, and collaborating with parents. (Indeed)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Conduct phonics, storytelling, rhymes, music, art & craft, sensory play, and activity-based learning.
- Foster children's language, numeracy, creativity, and social-emotional development.
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Observe and assess each child's progress and maintain records.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development.
- Organize classroom displays, learning corners, and educational activities.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and parent meetings.
- Ensure children's safety, hygiene, and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)
- B.Ed., Montessori, NTT, ECCEd, or Early Childhood Education certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in preschool or pre-primary teaching (Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply).
- Excellent spoken English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Creative, patient, caring, and enthusiastic personality.
- Passion for working with children aged 2–6 years.
