- Design forging dies, punches, inserts and related tooling using AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo or equivalent software.
- Develop die designs based on component drawings, forging process and material requirements.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models and detailed tool drawings for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with Die Shop, Production, Quality and Tool Room for die development and modifications.
- Incorporate die design changes based on production trials, tool wear and quality issues.
- Support die trial, troubleshooting and correction activities.
- Maintain die drawings, revision records and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs meet required dimensions, tolerances and forging process requirements.
- Optimize die design for improved tool life, productivity and reduced rejection.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of forging die design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of forging components, die materials, allowances, parting lines and machining requirements.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Ability to read engineering and component drawings.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good coordination with production and tool-room teams.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
