Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored effectively to the requirements of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Programming & Scripting: Java, Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML - Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch) - CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline - Configuration Management & IaC: Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation - Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS - Build & Version Control: Maven, Gradle, Git, Bitbucket - Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch - OS & Servers: Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), Apache Tomcat, Nginx - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
