- Guest Reception: Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival.
- Check-In and Check-Out: Efficiently handle guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate billing and record-keeping.
- Reservation Management: Manage guest reservations, both online and in-person, ensuring room availability and accurate bookings.
- Guest Assistance: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Telephone Handling: Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages or forwarding calls as necessary.
- Concierge Services: Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and transportation services, and assist with bookings.
- Room Assignments: Allocate rooms to guests based on preferences, availability, and special requests.
- Billing and Payments: Process payments, handle cash, and ensure that billing is accurate and transparent.
- Guest Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of guest details, preferences, and special requests in the hotel’s management system.
- Coordination with Housekeeping: Communicate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for guests.
- Handling VIP Guests: Provide personalized service to VIP guests, ensuring their needs are met.
- Security and Safety: Monitor guest access, ensuring safety protocols are followed and reporting any suspicious activity.
- Handling Special Requests: Accommodate special requests such as arranging room service, wake-up calls, or transportation.
- Upselling Services: Promote hotel services, such as spa treatments or restaurant reservations, to enhance guest experience.
- Lost and Found: Manage lost and found items, ensuring they are logged and returned to guests promptly.
- Emergency Procedures: Be knowledgeable about the hotel's emergency procedures and be prepared to assist in case of an emergency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage) to ensure seamless service.
- Daily Reports: Prepare and submit daily front office reports, including occupancy rates and guest feedback.
- Technology Use: Use hotel management software proficiently to manage bookings, guest records, and payments.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a polished and professional appearance, setting the standard for guest-facing staff.
