Who we are:
We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a senior FPGA RTL Designer to join our dynamic team and work on our cutting edge drone and robotic platforms. The ideal candidate will be a passionate engineer who can individually contribute to the architecture, design, implementation and testing of complex designs in Xilinx/AMD RFSoC platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Work with key stakeholders in understanding the requirements of the project/product. Provide technical inputs and work towards freezing the project requirements.
- Create architecture and documentation for the project

RTL implementation including coding/ design entry in VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog. Choosing and configuring IPs.

Design Simulation, Design Synthesis, Functional Verification, Timing analysis and timing closure.

Participate in PDR’s and CDR’s and interact with cross functional teams to ensure all stakeholders sign off before release of project.

Co-ordinate with team members and other stakeholders to update on the timely status of the project
Must have skills:
-
Experience in implementing complex designs in Xilinx/AMD FPGAs/ MPSoCs
-
Experience in designing using Xilinx/AMD RFSoC family devices
-
Highly skilled in one or more of Design Entry languages like Verilog/ VHDL/ System Verilog etc.

Working experience with Xilinx FPGA tools like Vivado, iSIM, Chipscope, Vitis etc

Experience with testing and debugging on the hardware by using suitable lab tools

Strong background in digital signal processing and its implementation on FPGAs

Experience of working on RF projects in the areas of 5G, Communications, radar, radios etc.

Good Communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent Problem Solving and analytical skills

Ability to work in challenging environment to deliver high quality results
Good to have skills:

Knowledge of Xilinx SoC SDK, Petalinux etc on Xilinx MPSoC

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development

Experience with Altera/Intel FPGA/SoC platforms and workflow
-
Familiarity with DO-254 compliance for airborne electronic hardware

Experience working on aerospace or UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) projects
Basic Requirement (education & relevant experience):

B.E /M.E in Electronics/ Communication / Computer Science

8 to 14 Years in Engineering, R&D Departments of relevant organizations
