We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Pricing Specialist who have 1 to 2 years of experience to manage our LCL, FCL freight quotation process and streamline communication between agents, customers, and our internal teams. You will be the bridge that ensures we remain competitive in the market while maintaining high operational accuracy.
### Core Responsibilities
1. Quotation & Rate Management
- Inquiry Handling: Distribute incoming rate inquiries to multiple global agents to ensure a diverse range of options.
- Rate Analysis: Evaluate received rates for competitiveness and accuracy, selecting the best possible quote to present to the client.
- System Updates: Maintain up-to-date pricing records by logging rates into Excel trackers and the Ipack system.
2. Negotiation & Conversion
- Active Follow-ups: Engage with customers to track the status of sent quotes and gather feedback.
- Agent Liaison: Communicate target rates and market feedback to agents to negotiate better pricing and increase win rates.
3. Operational Coordination
- Shipment Handover: Upon shipment confirmation, introduce the sales team to the agent loop to ensure a smooth transition from pricing to execution.
- Agent Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for the agent during the booking and transit phase.
4. Financial Verification
- Invoice Auditing: Upon shipment arrival, collect agent invoices and meticulously verify them against the original quoted rates.
- Accounts Integration: Resolve any discrepancies and forward validated invoices to the accounts team for timely payment processing.
