We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with demonstrated expertise in automation and significant hands-on experience utilizing AI tools to enhance testing processes. The successful candidate will possess advanced competencies in automated testing and exhibit a strong interest in emerging technologies that improve quality assurance. This position involves close collaboration with IT business stakeholders to refine regression tests and actively contribute to value creation through rigorous, effective test automation practices.
The candidate should conduct functional testing during development and automate tests as the system matures. Strong skills in analysis, design, and automation testing are essential; knowledge of scripting, frameworks, and AI-based testing tools is a must.
Collaborating with business, technical, and QA teams to define and document tests that reflect our vision and deliver value, employing automation and AI tools whenever appropriate.- Assuming responsibility for assigned features and projects by establishing clear expectations and outcomes and developing comprehensive manual and automated tests and testing strategies.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, communicate them effectively to stakeholders, and ensure seamless integration of automation prior to delivery.
- Proactively recognizing and communicating risks, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Developing and executing automated test cases to validate solutions, prioritizing accuracy, user experience, and AI-driven testing methodologies while maintaining a strong process orientation.
- Review production bugs, take part in root cause analysis and resolution, and make sure relevant updates are added to the Regression Suite to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Training new team members in automation and serving as a catalyst in transforming Functional QA into Techno-functional QA.
- Analyse Current business processes and workflows to optimize efficiency, identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Continuously develop your knowledge and skills to increase your contribution to the team.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize roles and responsibilities as conditions and team strengths evolve

Demonstrated expertise in automation tools and test frameworks, including Selenium and Playwright; strong proficiency in Core Java, Python, or similar programming languages; comprehensive understanding of CI/CD processes. Experience with Amazon Q, Kiro, or other relevant AI assistance tools is considered advantageous.- Three to five years of experience in web application and database testing, with knowledge of APIs, integrations, and SQL.
- Degree in B Tech/BE (specialisation in CSE/IT), M.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA, or MCA. Relevant education or experience is valued, with emphasis on passion and potential.
