Job Title: Oracle DBA – L2 (Senior Oracle Database Administrator)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining critical Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Oracle GoldenGate, Data Guard, RMAN, and advanced backup and recovery solutions. This role demands strong troubleshooting skills, performance tuning capabilities, and the ability to work in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (versions 11g, 12c, 19c) in standalone and clustered environments
- Design and implement Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and high availability
- Administer and support Oracle GoldenGate for real-time replication and data integration across heterogeneous environments
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies using RMAN
- Perform regular database health checks, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide 24x7 on-call support
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Database Administration, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and Backup & Recovery
- Strong scripting skills in Shell/Bash and experience with OEM
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is desirable
