Job Description –
Operational & Production Management:
o Lead daily shop-floor manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met on time.
o Oversee in-house facilities including metal stamping, fabrication, CED coating, powder coating, and automated zinc plating.
o Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer forecasts and delivery requirements.
· Quality & Compliance:
o Enforce strict quality control standards to prevent defects and minimize in-process scrap.
o Ensure the facility adheres to automotive regulatory requirements, safety norms, and statutory compliances.
· Continuous Improvement:
o Drive lean manufacturing techniques, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Six Sigma initiatives to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
o Implement Kaizen and Quality Control (QC) activities across the plant.
· Resource & Cost Management:
o Manage plant budgets, optimize resource utilization, and implement cost-control measures to boost profitability.
o Oversee manpower planning, shift rosters, and skill development through regular operator training.
· Customer & Cross-Functional Coordination:
o Interact regularly with customers regarding production status, supply constraints, and quality issues.
o Coordinate smoothly across internal departments like Purchase, Stores, Dispatch, and Maintenance. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Role Requirements
· Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
· Experience: Extensive leadership experience in the auto-component manufacturing sector—specifically in press shops, fabrication, and automated coating processes.
· Competencies: Strong command over production planning, ERP software, and deep knowledge of mechanical drawings, hydraulic circuits, and pneumatic
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
