Role Objective:
The role is responsible for end-to-end backend infrastructure management, server and application operations, and intelligent automation of IT workflows. The position strengthens backend capability through automation-first practices, containerization, data handling, and AI-assisted operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Server Backend Infrastructure Management
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage Active Directory (AD), domain controllers, replication, FSMO roles.
- Design and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Handle user, group, OU, and service account management.
- Perform server hardening, patching, performance tuning.
- Monitor server health and manage backup DR.
- Support virtualization platforms (Hyper-V / VMware).
2. Application Database Backend Management
- Manage backend application servers.
- Deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot server-side applications.
- Administer SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL (basic to intermediate).
- Perform database backups and restores.
3. Workflow Automation Scripting
- Automate operations and workflows.
- Develop scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Automate AD provisioning, monitoring, backups, alerts.
4. Power BI – Basic Automation Reporting
- Create Power BI dashboards.
- Automate data refresh and backend data connections.
5. Containerization Messaging
- Deploy and manage Docker containers.
- Work with MQTT or similar messaging protocols.
6. AI Intelligent Automation
- Implement AI-assisted operations.
- Use AI agents for automation, log analysis, and efficiency.
7. Security Compliance
- Ensure AD security, access controls, and policy enforcement.
- Support ISMS / ISO 27001 compliance.
8. Documentation Coordination
- Maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
