Job Role - Assembly Supervisor
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise machine and automation equipment assembly activities.
- Allocate daily work to assembly technicians and monitor progress.
- Ensure assembly work is completed as per drawings and project timelines.
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Electrical, and Stores departments.
- Monitor machine quality, alignment, fitting, and finishing work.
- Handle troubleshooting during assembly and installation.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Maintain production reports, assembly status, and manpower records.
- Support machine testing, trial runs, and dispatch activities.
- Train and guide assembly technicians and helpers.
- Maintain 5S and safety standards in the assembly area.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of automation machine assembly.
- Understanding of mechanical fitting and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and layouts.
- Team handling and manpower management skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, sensors, and actuators preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in SPM / Automation machine assembly.
- Experience in handling assembly teams.
- Ready for site support or occasional travel if required.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
