About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks and a proven background in mechanical design, product development, and engineering problem-solving. The ideal candidate will design activities from concept through production, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the end-to-end mechanical design of components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks.
- Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs, and engineering documents to support prototypes and production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain) to ensure design intent, manufacturability, and performance.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve product quality and reliability.
- Optimize designs for cost, performance, weight, materials, and manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, plastics, casting, etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering .
- 2–8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks.
- Strong command of SolidWorks modules: Part modeling, Assembly, Drawings, Weldments, Sheet Metal, Surfacing, and PDM.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
