Role Description The Front Office Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Coral Isle Hotels in Kochi. This role oversees daily front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and efficient coordination with housekeeping and other departments. The Front Office Supervisor schedules and guides front office team members, monitors performance, and addresses operational issues to maintain service standards. The role also involves handling reservations, resolving guest concerns, managing billing and payment processes, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. The Front Office Supervisor supports training initiatives, promotes a positive work environment, and upholds hotel policies and brand standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading, coaching, and scheduling front office or hospitality teams.
- Hands-on experience with receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out, switchboard operation, and handling guest inquiries.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to manage guest expectations and resolve issues calmly and professionally.
- Practical knowledge of reservations processes, including room allocation, booking systems, and rate management.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and basic MS Office skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Previous experience in a front office or guest services role in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
