Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to create compelling, client-focused proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and business documents. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, technical, and management teams to develop clear, persuasive, and compliant proposals that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and tenders to understand client requirements
- Write, edit, and format technical and commercial proposals
- Collaborate with sales, technical, finance, and legal teams to gather inputs
- Ensure proposals are clear, persuasive, and aligned with client needs
- Customize content based on industry, client, and project scope
- Maintain proposal templates, case studies, and content libraries
- Ensure proposals meet submission guidelines, deadlines, and compliance
- Proofread and review documents for accuracy, consistency, and quality
Required Skills
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills
- Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities
- Ability to understand technical concepts and convert them into clear content
- Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience writing proposals for IT / Software / Consulting / Engineering services
- Basic understanding of project management or software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of proposal tools or document management systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field
For Freshers (Optional Add-On)
- Strong writing samples (academic, blogs, proposals, or mock samples)
- Willingness to learn proposal frameworks and industry terminology
