Job Summary
The Jewellery Store Executive is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by assisting customers in selecting jewellery, explaining product features, and achieving sales targets. The role also includes maintaining store presentation, handling billing, and ensuring inventory accuracy while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and understand their jewellery requirements.
- Assist customers in selecting gold, diamond, silver, platinum, and gemstone jewellery.
- Explain product features, pricing, making charges, certifications, and ongoing offers.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Handle billing, payments, and cash/POS transactions accurately.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure jewellery displays are clean and attractive.
- Perform daily stock checks and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure the safety and security of jewellery in accordance with store procedures.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Support promotional events, exhibitions, and festive sales campaigns.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and compliance guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and customer service orientation.
- Basic knowledge of jewellery products, gemstones, and hallmarking (preferred).
- Ability to build customer trust and close sales effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/billing systems.
- Attention to detail, honesty, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1–5 years of experience in jewellery retail, luxury retail, or premium retail sales is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and customer service skills may also be considered.
