Job Summary
Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Centre is looking for an experienced OT Technician to support operation theatre activities and ensure the OT is prepared and maintained according to clinical and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operation theatre before scheduled procedures.
- Arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, and required supplies.
- Assist doctors, surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments safely and efficiently.
- Follow sterilization and infection-control procedures.
- Ensure OT equipment and instruments are cleaned and ready for use.
- Assist with patient positioning and safe transfer as required.
- Maintain proper records related to OT procedures and equipment.
- Monitor OT consumables and inform the concerned team about requirements.
- Check equipment functionality and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operation theatre.
- Follow centre policies, safety procedures, and professional standards.
Eligibility
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant OT experience preferred.
- Experience in IVF, gynecology, fertility, or related surgical procedures will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of sterilization and infection-control practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates willing to work at Hosur or Hebbal are encouraged to apply.
