- Conduct regular inspections of materials, concrete strength, and structural elements.
- Ensure all work directly complies with approved blueprints, elevations, and structural drawings.
- Monitor specific post-construction processes such as concrete curing and moisture testing.
2. Execution & Supervision
- Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and tradespeople to maximize productivity and ensure task accuracy.
- Manage structural layouts, surveying, and marking ground lines and levels before excavation or concrete placement.
- Verify structural frameworks (e.g., shuttering, rebar/steel placement) prior to pouring concrete.
3. Material & Resource Management
- Prepare technical estimates for raw materials like cement, steel, aggregates, and water.
- Communicate with vendors to procure required materials and reduce on-site wastage.
- Schedule the delivery of heavy equipment, tools, and labor shifts to avoid project delays.
4. Safety Compliance
- Enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations daily.
- Ensure all on-site personnel are equipped with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety briefings and perform hazard checks on scaffolding, heavy machinery, and electrical connections.
5. Documentation & Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate and negotiate with architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, and local authorities.
- Track daily project progress and generate formal site reports for management and clients.
