WordPress Developer (SEO Knowledge Preferred)
Job Overview: We are looking for a WordPress Developer responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress themes, plugins, website performance and security, along with good communication skills. Basic knowledge of SEO best practices will be considered an added advantage.
Must-Have Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience.

Strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress Core, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience with WordPress Theme Development and Customization.

Experience with WordPress Plugin Development and Customization.

Understanding of WordPress Hooks (Actions & Filters).

Experience working with WooCommerce.

Good knowledge of MySQL and WordPress database structure.

Experience with website migration, hosting, cPanel, FTP, and SSL.

Ability to troubleshoot WordPress errors, plugin conflicts, security issues, and performance problems.

Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.

SEO Knowledge (Preferred)

Perform on-page SEO optimization (meta tags/alt tags/internal linking, etc)

Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, and SEMrush

Monitor site health using Google Search Console

Understanding of keyword research and backlinking strategies

Understand website analytics via Google Analytics.

Implement technical SEO practices such as sitemap creation, robots.txt optimization, and schema markup.
