The Field Sales Intern is responsible for generating new business for the travel agency by meeting clients in person, building strong relationships, and promoting travel products such as tour packages, flight tickets, hotel bookings, and customized itineraries. This role focuses on on-ground sales, client acquisition, tele-calling and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and visit B2B/B2C prospects (corporates, schools, groups).
- Promote global tour packages, flights, hotels, and visas.
- Tailor travel solutions to meet specific client needs.
- Lead in-person meetings and follow-ups to hit sales.
- Build client relationships and coordinate with operations for smooth bookings.
- Report on market trends and maintain lead records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)
- 0 - 1 year of field sales experience (travel/tourism industry preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation and closing abilities
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings
- Basic knowledge of travel products (flights, hotels, tour packages, visas)
- Self-motivated and target-driven attitude
Qualification: Any Bachelor's Degree
