Job Description: Telecaller Executive – Vendor Acquisition
Position Purpose The Telecaller Executive will be responsible for generating leads, contacting businesses, explaining the benefits of the marketplace app, and onboarding vendors onto the platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Make outbound calls to local businesses, service providers, retailers, and merchants.
· Introduce and explain the marketplace app and its benefits.
· Generate qualified vendor leads.
· Schedule demos or onboarding sessions where required.
· Follow up with interested vendors until registration is completed.
· Maintain accurate records of calls and lead status.
· Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly vendor onboarding targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, business development, or marketplace sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and close deals over phone and virtual meetings.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, SaaS, or digital products.
- Lead generation and prospecting skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management abilities.
- Fluency in English and local language(s).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new sellers/vendors onboarded.
- Lead-to-conversion rate.
- Revenue generated from acquired accounts.
- Seller activation and retention rate.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
