Academic Counsellor
Location: Bengaluru (Work From Office / Work From Home)
Working Days: 6 Days a Week
Language Requirement: Excellent English Communication (Mandatory)
Role Overview
As an Academic Counsellor, you will be responsible for guiding students and parents in selecting the right learning programs based on their academic needs and aspirations. You will play a key role in converting prospective leads into enrollments while delivering an exceptional counseling experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents on Vedantu's courses and learning solutions.
- Understand students' academic requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to engage with prospective students.
- Convert qualified leads into successful enrollments through consultative selling.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless student onboarding experience.
- Consistently achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–4 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Inside Sales, B2C Sales, or EdTech.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of spoken English is mandatory.
- Good persuasion, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office for 6 days a week.
