Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with 8–10 years of proven experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities from excavation to project handover.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and quality standards.
- Prepare construction schedules and monitor project progress against planned milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and clients.
- Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, material consumption, and control construction costs.
- Verify contractor measurements, running bills, and work certifications.
- Plan and monitor manpower, machinery, and material resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
- Ensure timely completion of projects with minimum rework and maximum productivity.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely material availability.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide technical recommendations.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, and structural execution.
- Quantity estimation, BOQ verification, and billing.
- Construction planning and scheduling.
- Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC).
- AutoCAD.
- MS Project or Primavera (preferred).
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of IS Codes, NBC, and construction standards.
