Position: Project Manager
Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/PhD (Mechanical or related discipline)
Experience: Minimum 10+ years in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Heavy Steel Structure Fabrication, and Site Execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution for heavy steel and sheet metal fabrication projects.
- Oversee on-site fabrication and assembly activities and ensuring compliance with IS standards.
- Coordinate with design and production teams for fabrication drawing interpretation and execution.
- Develop detailed 3D models, layouts, and drawings using SOLIDWORKS, including SHEET METAL and Weldment modules.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BoM) and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for designs.
Fabrication & Manufacturing:
- Collaborate with fabrication teams for sheet metal and structural fabrication processes.
- Optimize designs for tolerances, nesting, and efficient manufacturing.
- Conduct market surveys to source materials and components aligned with project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards across project sites.
- Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of SOLIDWORKS 3D or similar design software.
- Hands-on experience with IS standards, steel fabrication tolerances, and welding techniques (TIG, MIG, Friction, Argon, Spot).
- Understanding of material grades, rates, and QA procedures.
- Prior experience in large-scale structures (e.g., dams, hydro/mechanical installations).
- Proven record of executing 5+ turnkey projects.
- Familiarity with renewable energy or dynamic infrastructure sectors.
- Experience with national and international consignment shipping.
Job Location: Within India or Outside the India as per the project requirement
