Job Summary
Tanishq Jewellery is expanding its team and is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier / Sales Assistants to join our Vadodara showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling billing and payment transactions, assisting customers, supporting daily showroom operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects Tanishq's premium brand standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesCashier Operations
- Process customer billing and payment transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other payment methods.
- Generate invoices, receipts, and maintain transaction records.
- Reconcile cash collections and support daily closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Welcome customers and provide a warm, professional showroom experience.
- Assist customers with inquiries and direct them to the appropriate sales team members.
- Support sales activities during peak hours and promotional events.
- Address customer concerns courteously and professionally.
Showroom Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing and customer service areas.
- Assist in coordinating stock-related and administrative tasks.
- Support smooth day-to-day showroom operations.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of customer and transaction information.
Requirements
- Minimum Graduate preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong numerical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and customer-centric approach.
Preferred Skills
- Retail sales and customer service experience.
- Knowledge of jewellery retail operations is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, POS systems).
- Teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Integrity and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions.
