- Assess the patient's airway, breathing, and oxygen saturation regularly.
- Keep the tracheostomy tube clean and ensure proper tube care.
- Perform suctioning when needed to remove secretions and maintain airway patency.
- Monitor for signs of infection, bleeding, or respiratory distress.
- Provide humidification to prevent drying of secretions.
- Educate the patient and family about tracheostomy care and emergency management.
- Ensure emergency equipment, such as a spare tracheostomy tube and suction apparatus, is available.
- Maintain proper stoma care and change dressings as required.
- Encourage effective coughing and breathing exercises to improve lung function.
- Document all assessments, procedures, and patient responses accurately.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
