Job Responsibilities: * Supervise daily operations of spice and masala packing lines to meet planned production targets.
* Ensure smooth functioning of packing machines, conveyors, and related equipment.
* Monitor production parameters and ensure minimal downtime and maximum line efficiency. * Allocate manpower effectively across packing lines and shifts. * Guide and supervise machine operators, feeders, and packing staff. * Ensure adherence to shift discipline, productivity targets, and standard operating procedures. * Ensure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene practices, and GMP requirements in the packing area. * Monitor packing quality including weight accuracy, sealing integrity, labeling, and packaging standards.
* Coordinate with the Quality team for in-process checks and corrective actions.
* Ensure timely availability of packaging materials, raw masala blends, and consumables for uninterrupted production.
* Coordinate with Stores and Planning teams for material issuance and replenishment.
* Identify machine issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for quick resolution.
* Ensure routine equipment checks and proper machine handling by operators.
* Enforce EHS guidelines and safety practices within the packing area.
* Maintain production records including shift production reports, downtime logs, manpower reports, and wastage tracking.
* Track production performance against plan and report deviations.
* Identify opportunities to improve packing line productivity, reduce wastage, and improve material utilization.
* Support initiatives related to lean manufacturing, cost optimization, and process improvement.
* Other duties as assigned.
