Job Description for Regional Medical Officer (RMO)
Qualification:
- MBBS from a recognized medical college.
- Valid Kerala Medical Council/State Medical Council registration.
- Experience: 0-5 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical services and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and department heads.
- Monitor quality standards and patient safety.
- Participate in medical audits and accreditation activities.
- Handle medico-legal and clinical governance matters.
Required Skills:
- Clinical leadership and decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team management and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of NABH standards and healthcare regulations.
Preferred Certifications:
- Valid Medical Council Registration of TCMC
