We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Executive to drive sales of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and renewable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong sales abilities to identify customer needs, develop customized solar solutions, and convert opportunities into successful projects. This role requires building long-term client relationships while supporting customers throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, digital platforms, and field visits.
- Meet prospective customers to understand their energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Conduct preliminary site assessments and coordinate with the engineering team for technical feasibility.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and project cost estimates.
- Explain system design, energy generation estimates, ROI, payback period, and financial benefits to customers.
- Present company products and services through meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close sales.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on solar technologies, government policies, subsidies, and industry trends.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and sales aptitude may also be considered.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical components.
- Understanding of net metering, energy audits, and system sizing.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and proposal preparation tools.
- Experience with PV design software (Helioscope, PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar) is an advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
