About the Role:
Stichwell Exports Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Quality Control Executive specializing in Leather Bags & Wallets.
The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of leather bag and wallet manufacturing, workmanship, construction, finishing, and quality inspection and should be capable of identifying defects and ensuring products meet approved samples and buyer requirements.
Leather Bags & Wallets Industry Experience is Mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections at Cutting, Stitching, Assembly, Finishing, and Final Packing stages.
- Inspect leather, lining, fittings, hardware, stitching, measurements, construction, and finishing of bags and wallets.
- Identify defects, rework, rejection, and workmanship issues and ensure corrective action.
- Check production against approved samples, specifications, measurements, and buyer requirements.
- Monitor bag and wallet construction, symmetry, stitching quality, edge finishing, hardware fitting, cleanliness, and overall appearance.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Sampling, Merchandising, and Packing teams to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct final inspection and support shipment quality approval.
- Prepare daily QC reports and maintain inspection records.
Required Skills:
✔ Strong hands-on knowledge of Leather Bags & Wallets manufacturing
✔ Ability to identify leather, stitching, construction, finishing, and workmanship defects
✔ Good understanding of bag and wallet production processes
✔ Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness
✔ Good communication and coordination skills
✔ Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Email & ERP
✔ Ability to work under production deadlines
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate preferred.
- Diploma/Degree in Leather Technology or Quality Management will be an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of practical Quality Control experience specifically in Leather Bags & Wallets manufacturing.
- Experience in Leather Export Houses will be highly preferred.
