We are looking for a Procurement Engineer with sound technical knowledge in industrial equipment procurement. A strategic Procurement Engineer selects, evaluates, and manages vendor partnerships. They use these relationships, along with data analytics, to solve problems and achieve business goals. As you might expect, the role focuses on using strategic sourcing principles in the procurement process, which will aid the team to work efficiently.
Managing the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending. Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies. Analysing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
- Candidate should have qualification in Engineering field (Mechnical Prefferable).
- Do research often to understand the company's operations needs and requirements.
- Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and control costs.
- Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy.
- Owns all the sourcing documentation and statements.
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
- Develop relationship with vendor for distributorship, credit terms, Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- 100% adherence to the due date of the projects.
