We are seeking a motivated and skilled General Technician with 1–2 years of experience in automobile service and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities;
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, battery checks, and tyre rotation.
- Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Repair and replace defective parts including brakes, filters, belts, spark plugs, and suspension components.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.
- Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer service standards.
- Assist senior technicians in complex repair and maintenance tasks.
- Test-drive vehicles when necessary to ensure proper functioning after repairs.
- Maintain service records and report major technical issues to the supervisor.
Requirements;
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or related technical field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a car service centre or automobile workshop.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and automotive tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driving license preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
