Position: PPC Executive / Engineer / Assistant Manager
Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head
Location: Motap, Mahesana
Job Purpose
To plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing activities to ensure timely production of construction equipment while optimizing resources, inventory, and production efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
- Develop production schedules for fabrication, machining, painting, assembly, and dispatch activities.
- Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
Production Control
- Track Work-in-Progress (WIP) and identify bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Material Planning
- Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and material requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of raw materials and bought-out components.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize stock shortages/excess inventory.
Order Management
- Track customer orders from planning to dispatch.
- Ensure on-time delivery commitments are achieved.
- Prepare order status reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
MIS & Reporting
- Maintain production planning records and MIS reports.
- Generate daily production reports, WIP reports, inventory reports, and dispatch reports.
- Analyze production variances and suggest corrective actions.
Process Improvement
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improving production efficiency and reducing lead time.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
