Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review factory-level controls architecture covering robots, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, safety systems, sensors, drives, CNC machines, and material-handling equipment.
- Program, integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial robots and PLC-controlled systems.
- Define machine-to-machine and robot-to-machine handshakes, I/O requirements, communication protocols, and fault-recovery logic.
- Support robotic applications including welding, laser processing, grinding, polishing, machine tending, assembly, inspection, and material handling.
- Coordinate with machine suppliers and system integrators during engineering, FAT, installation, SAT, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
- Review electrical schematics, control-panel designs, network architecture, safety interlocks, and automation documentation.
- Conduct cycle-time analysis, system debugging, preventive maintenance planning, and process optimization.
- Maintain programs, backups, operating manuals, I/O lists, troubleshooting guides, and change records.
Required Profile
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- 2–3 years of practical experience in industrial robotics, automation integration, or controls engineering.
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial robots, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, servo drives, VFDs, sensors, and industrial safety.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, understand control logic, diagnose faults, and independently support commissioning activities.
- Willingness to work closely with international suppliers and travel for factory acceptance, installation, or technical training when required.
Preferred Experience
* Exposure to automotive or high-volume manufacturing automation.
* Experience with robot brands such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Comau, Estun, EFORT, or SIASUN.
* Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, or equivalent control platforms.
- * Familiarity with robot simulation, offline programming, machine vision, traceability, MES integration, and functional safety.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
