Job Summary
The Accounts & Finance Manager is responsible for managing the overall accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, payroll, banking, and compliance functions of the organization. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, statutory compliance, and effective financial control to support business operations and decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
- Supervise daily accounting operations and accounting staff.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and variance reports.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Handle internal and external audits efficiently.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory documents.
Payroll & Banking
- Oversee payroll processing and salary disbursement.
- Manage banking activities, fund transfers, and loan documentation.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Develop financial dashboards and reporting systems.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the accounts and finance team.
- Train team members on accounting procedures and compliance updates.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
