The Team
The Software Review Team Manager role will support A&M’s growing Corporate Information Technology team by partnering with business stakeholders at all levels. The role is hands-on and delivery-focused, operating within a professional services environment where responsiveness, judgement, and stakeholder management are critical. This position contributes to enterprise technology strategy and global governance through effective management of the Software Review Team (SRT), related processes and by working closely with IT Business Partnership, wider IT, security, legal and operations teams to execute and support agreed standards, services, and initiatives.
How you will contribute
- Lead a team of specialists across software demand intake, compliance and legal review.
- Own the enterprise installed software request lifecycle, from intake through deployment.
- Contribute to further developing and maintaining governance frameworks, policies, and approval workflows.
- Partner with Security, Legal, IT Business Partnership, IT Operations, and Engineering Teams to enable consistent and compliant outcomes.
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as request volume, SLT/SLA development and adherence, risk findings, and packaging throughput.
- Drive automation and tooling initiatives (including ServiceNow Catalogue enhancements, discovery tooling, packaging automation).
- Manage escalations, high risk software assessments, simple and complex contract reviews, audits and software portfolio reviews.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and career development for team members.
- Provide cover for team members as required.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in IT governance, software lifecycle management, or enterprise IT environments.
- Proven experience managing globally facing or cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of security, licensing, contracts and software procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of end-user technologies, workplace IT, and vendor coordination
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior leaders.
- Experience working across regions and time zones
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with global IT operating models and centrally governed enterprise platforms.
- Proven experience supporting professional services or consulting environments
- Experience working with third-party managed service providers
- Pragmatic, service oriented, and outcome focused
- Comfortable operating in fast paced, low bureaucracy environments
- High attention to detail with strong ownership mindset
- Collaborative approach with the ability to influence without formal authority
