Job Description
An B-License Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in commercial interior fit-out settings. They ensure all wiring, lighting, and control systems operate safely and efficiently. Electricians troubleshoot electrical issues, follow safety codes, and perform preventive maintenance to avoid hazards. With technical expertise and precision, they help ensure continuous electrical supply and system reliability across diverse environments, contributing to energy efficiency and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and control equipment safely.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety procedures.
- Valid B-License Electrician Certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electrical issues.
- Proficient with tools, meters, and modern diagnostic testing devices.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work under varied conditions.
- Awareness of national and local electrical safety and compliance codes.
- Inspect electrical components to ensure code compliance and operational safety.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing devices and technical tools.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures as needed.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately during installations.
- Ensure proper grounding and connection of electrical circuits and systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report completed tasks promptly.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and electrical regulations consistently.
