An MEP technician, or Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing technician, performs maintenance and repairs on MEP systems. Their responsibilities include:
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and repairs, and responding to emergency repair requests
- Inspections: Conducting regular inspections
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
- Installation: Installing, commissioning, and testing new equipment
- Record keeping: Maintaining records of maintenance activities
- Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Technical support: Providing technical support
